Neighbour with a 9N Polo 1.2 HTP asked for some help as it was driving very, very badly.  They'd pulled about 5 fault codes out of it, One of them was a cyl 3 misfire, so I thought I'd start by pulling the plugs for a looksee, then if they looked alright moving the No.3 coilpack to another pot to see if the fault migrated with it.

 

Off with the three electrical connectors, pulled first coil out, second coil out, then...

 

 

 

Looks like a stick of rock, does it say Skoda through the middle? 

Not that I noticed.

It was a genuine original from 2005 though, I think. I seem to remember it said VWAG on the top.

Made me look good 'cos I'd only been under the bonnet about 2 mins, and had taken the precaution of bringing a spare with me.
