2019 used Octy for sub £12k - cracking deal?

Featured Replies

You need to approach slowly and then inspect very closely and check every panel, tyres, discs, windsrceen etc etc and then try to find out where it has been since May and who or how many might have driven it.

Salespeople tend to be of poor eyesight when they inspect cars they are selling, but have 20/20 vision when inspecting vehicles being traded in.

Cars for sale in Norwich but with a Chester reg plate.  Might have been an ex rental, one owner but many drivers

Ring Skoda UK and ask about the car/any warranty repairs / servicing etc etc  quoting the reg number, then ring the selling dealer and ask the same question, see if the answers match

I reckon it’s a typo.

Looks like it when compared to their other used cars and those on autotrader's asking prices.

That's quite an assumption.

Many private cars from Skoda get handed back to VWFS and just go on auction on their site for traders.

They then get bought and shipped all round the country.

This is how my car ended up Suresh South.

Also, with the various websites getting dealers to compete against each other people drive hundreds of miles to get a cheaper deal in a few car, then immediately take it will away from that supplying dealer.

It's quite normal for cars to be from a totally different part of the country to where they're registered.

There we go then. Yesterday it was £11,190. A simple typo. We can put the conspiracy theories to rest now.
