Hi all I’m new to Skoda I have a 2003 diesel estate and the central locking is not working. When I try to use the keyfob to unlock or lock the doors the indicators flash it sounds like it unlocks or locks but it doesn’t. I doubt it’s the key fob programming anyone know where to start looking?

Try checking for broken wires in the door looms between the doors and car inside the rubber boots firstly. Secondly check the wiring to the bottom of the window motors, starting with the drivers door. These cars are renowned for broken wires and corroded pins in the control unit on the bottom of the motors. Start at the drivers door first as this is the most common for the issues.
