Rear bumper help!

Featured Replies

Hiya guys,

Someone accidentally scraped along my bumper the other day in a car park and trying to avoid a respray....however hunting for a new bumper is a challenge due to the colour!

My main question is would a hatchback rear bumper fit the estate?

My car is an 09 fabia 2 estate in maroon but all the bumpers seem to be for the hatchback!

Having owned a Mk2 hatch (2007) and estate (2010) I think you will find that the overhang is longer on the estate which makes the car longer and more practical compared to the hatch so it will not fit the estate unfortunately. Is it cracked and needs replacing or can it be repainted by a moblie firm such as Chips Away who could come to your home or workplace and usually erect a canopy to protect against the elements? Hiya, thanks for the reply and warm welcome and a happy new year to you too 😁

It's not cracked thankfully just a scrape on it (attached a pic hopefully)

I have got some previous missing paint in the centre of the bumper from an incident with a pressure washer so a new bumper would have been more convenient than a respray of I'm honest

That's classic "Chips Away" territory; not living in Leeds I can't advise on which company/franchise is best.
