Problems with judder, not constant

Featured Replies

So this is the deal.

1. When I start my car stone cold, it fires no problems, runs like a silk and after 5-30 sec it starts to run as on 3 cylinders ( intermittent and I hear it well because I have straight piped it) , revs are nice and constant but car shakes a bit

2. If engine temp is 50 celsius or more, or if I give it just 30 revs it runs nice and smooth ( idle not intermittent ).

3. If I press the clutch, shaking is less by 80% or stops completly, if engine temp is 50 or more or if I give it 30 revs more, no shaking at all.

4. Smells just a tiny bit rich but it could be because it has straight pipe.

5. Sometimes on motorway when I am using my cruise control, car keeps accelerating instead just holding the speed I want.

6. Feels like she has the power, just it isn't as sharp on acceleration as she use to be.

Few details about the old skip:

1. EGR is in place, but blanked and mapped out

2. Remaped to 185bhp 400Nm ( problems started the next day after the remap ) ( Seat sport FMIC, 1749vb turbo, ASZ engine )

3. Remaper said it isn't about his codding. ( I believe him because he had done a lot of TDIs )

4. My MPG is fine, no smoke of any color.

5. Took her for check of injectors, all good.

6. No cloncking or vibrating on the pedal as of from DMF, no clutch slips, nice and even clutch grip at the bottom of the pedal.

7. Tiny bit of leak under tandem pump

8. Glow plugs in good condition.

9. When I remove MAF plug it goes like a slug.

10. MAP accurate

11. Brake pedal as it should be

12. Turbo whistle from 1500 to 2100 rpms then stops the whistle noise, pulls nice and hard.

Clutch and DMF cannot handle 400NM.

Replace clutch and DMF, problem solved.
