Main beam stalk control in "auto" setting

Featured Replies

Hi Guys - just got a vrs230 and when the lights are on auto setting it takes 2 pushes of the headlight stalk control to switch from dip to main beam and only 1 to revert to dip. On normal lights setting it only takes 1.

My wife has a facelift Vrs and on auto her stalk control only requires 1 push to go to main beam.

Is mine set in infotainment to be 2 and I can't find it?

Help please. Thanks

You have the high beam assist tuned on. The first push activates HBA and then a little A comes on the Maxidot, the second push gives you manual control. If you would prefer not to have it, go to Vehicle Settings, Light, Light Assist and untick the box.

It turns the high beam on and off automatically. I have coded it on mine, among many other things; it’s great.

I’m not a Bangor graduate, I’ve applied 3 times and been accepted but never gone. Maybe I will if their EdD program entices me :)
