I seem to have cracked one of these chrome false exhausts (but on the left).

 

I can't find the part number anywhere on the internet. Can anyone help me out please?

that is unfortunate, and wat is even more unfortunate is that u won't b able to find just the chrome bit alone, for replacement!!

its the whole rear diffusor - like the one here from superskoda. 😞

Thanks for advice. I found this on their site but assumed it was for changing from a standard to a chromed version.

 

€249 is ridiculous for just one cracked part. No wonder cars get stolen specifically for parts these days!

The way this is written, surely means I can purchase the left hand side only but €108 is still bloody expensive!

You could always remove all 3 parts. I hate fake exhaust mouldings, so wrong blame Audi diesels.

Start googling national breakers yards and check eBay for Sportlines being stripped.

It doesn't come separately - as it states, it comes assembled.

 

Maybe yes, u can buy just the chrome bits - but as u said, it too bl00dy expensive individually.

Better off buying the diffusor as a whole, for future spare parts!!

I did look on eBay, but I'd hate to buy something that's come from a stolen vehicle by mistake!

If I can't get one from a breaker's yard, then I'll bite the bullet and get the whole set.

 

Must remember the back end is a lot bigger than I'm used to and slow right down for speed bumps in future!

How about patching it up and wrapping it with chrome vinyl wrap? Said wrap is a couple of quid from fleabay.
