235/60 R18 Tyres for a Kodiaq

Black Alloy Rims for Kodiaq Sportline

I am moving from the fitted R20 alloy rims to R18 alloy rims for my Kodiaq Sportsline.  The primary reason is to allow me to fit Michelin Cross Climate SUV 18 inch tyres with a larger side wall with all the benefits they provide.

Can anyone recommend Black R18 alloy rims to fit my Kodiaq.  I am looking for a supplier, a manufacturer and a design.  The current offering from Skoda themselves are extremely expensive for what they are and not particularly inspiring.  Any advice on alloys to avoid would be greatly appreciated as well.

Any Kodiaq driver with 18" Black alloys fitted I would appreciate any photos.

Colleague recently fitted some Alutec wheels from them and so far they've been fine. When (if) my ordered Kodiaq arrives, I will also be downsizing, from 19inch to 17inch, for the same reasons, ie all-season tyres and with a profile more suited to our local abysmal roads.

Oponeo site also allows you to choose wheels which have the same bore as OEM wheels, so no need for centering rings. Take care to choose the correct width and the ET value (apologies if you knew all this)

Another colleague used Wheelbase, but wasn't impressed by their customer service

I believe 235x55 is the only Skoda recommend tyre size for 18” wheels.

I’ve got 215x65x17 which is a recommended size as my winter wheels.

Ditto. 17” winter wheels for me with the OEM 19” for summer.
