yes i have cut an access hole to the locking mechanism. im bit worried that i might break other components if i force it out.

just found out it is held on by 2 screws but in order to get to them, the door will need to be opened. i have tried to break bit by bit off so i can lift the latch up to open the door but i got too cold so had to take a break. i was at it for about an hour, that locking mechanism is really tough. i was using a hammer and chisel ( well, a flat screwdriver).

could anyone tell me if this door would fit my car please?

 

it says its for a 2010 but mine is 2008,

yes that will fit, the doors never changed throughout Fabia 2

 

thank you very much, i really want this one as its more or less the same as mine. seen many doors without the skirting board and tinted window. this door has it all. just need to know if its the hatchback or estate as it does not state what it is.

the seller replied back and it is a hatchback so its all good, just seeing if its tinted then i buy it.

 

all i need to do is put the door on then all is done, finally!

an update:

 

i have bought the door now and just need to collect it but it will be friday.

 

so i dont need to put the side skirt and tinted windows in now. all i need to do is put that door on my car and that is it
