Yeti G28 & G69 sesnors

Featured Replies

Hello,

My wife's Yeti misbehaved the other day. It stuttered and threw up the flashing coil light but didn't reduce power and allowed her to get to work.
The car is a 110ps 2wd variant with 56K on the clock on full dealer/specialist history and in the 3 years so far, it has behaved very well.

I've got VCDS so downloaded the codes (log attached), trouble is, I have no idea where theses sensors are on the engine and googling hasn't given a picture to help.

Any here able to point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Jon

Google suggests G28 is engine speed sensor and G69 is Throttle Position Sensor.
Have you not searched for the codes on the Ross-Tech website?

Ross wiki is ok for telling you what they are but not where or what they look like, googling hasn't turned up any pics or location. Hence asking on here to see if anyone else has had the problem

I would imagine the throttle position sensor is in the base of the throttle pedal.
