Hi all,

 

1st post on here. I have tried the search facility with no luck.

 

I have a 2017 Octavia Estate TDi 150. Can the start stop be turned off permanently.

 

Drives me mad that i forget everytime i drive it, and then have to press the button.

My apologies. I have now found a topic on here which says it can be adapted through VCDS

I wouldn't worry, soon enough your battery will degrade anyway and start stop just won't kick in 😂

Or unplug the battery monitor cable next to the battery. That worked on our petrol 2013 Leon.
