No Claims Bonus, how can I check how many years.

Featured Replies

I have just had my renewal notice and I seem a bit short on my no claims years

can I check discretely? if so where and how, thanks.

Do you have any previous insurance renewal notices possibly letter or email?

Just ask the Insurer why they are saying it is the number of years it is.

I have 17 years no claims available and one insurer i use and have a policy with only bother about 9 years and the other 11.

I have proof of 17 years.

Thanks for your replies

Roottoot, has it, my current company only recognises 9years no claims

Co-Op for instance recognise many more (12?) A point to watch for.

AVIVA that just want to know that you have 9 years NCB can still be cheaper than some that recognise that you have 15 years.

The discount % will simply be spread over more years if your insurer recognises more than 9 years.

I am with Hastings and have been for a few Years, I know I have about 14 Year NCB but it always shows as 9+ on my Paperwork.
