Thinking of changing my 100,000 mile Yeti 1.2 manual for a Karoq 1.5 petrol DSG Edition front wheel drive.  

I know asking a "fuel consumption" question could  contribute to the numbers of replies a "what tyres" question would generate,  but , here goes...

I get over 40 mpg ( calculated on brim to brim as well as on maxidot ) so would I get worse on the above spec Karoq? 

Short answer is maybe at times when cold and short distances  traveled.

So we made exactly this swap except to an SE L rather than Edition. Fuel consumption seems broadly similar at around 39mpg. Cold starts seem to affect it more than the it did the Yeti in terms of economy but its a tiny difference.

 

Its a massively better engine and gearbox combo and I think you'll really like it.
