DiCampo's Octavia vRS

I went to pick up my new-to-me Octavia in Germany today. It was a joyful day 😎

Just over 4 years old and with 120000km on the clocks, which sounds to me like an ex-lease Autobahn cruiser.

After a fair bit of administrative back and forth, where the German person on duty just picked any VAG model, I had my hands on the export plates and was ready to go.

On the drive home I noticed that the GPS is VERY pessimistic! Even with a half hour lunch and refueling break, I still arrived home 45 minutes earlier than the initial ETA (on a 4,5 hour drive). Some bits of unrestricted highway sure helped with this, but even so the difference is massive.

The keys look a bit ratty, so I have already ordered new covers for those.

Apart from that I have plenty of plans to change and update the car, many of which are inspired by SaschaGrace's thread (and I'm not even halfway through yet)

First up is probably a GPS maps update, because that hasn't been done since the car left the showroom...
