1.6 big turbo question.

Hello, i got a mk2 octy 1.6. i was reading i can get the gtc1549 turbo on it, which is from the 2l one. My question is, at what rpm would it boost? Im afraid, that since its bigger turbo, it will boost like over 2500rpm. Can it be tuned like that, that it will charge with lower rpms?  Current stock one feels like starting pushing at around 1600rpm. I know  not many peeps changed stock turbo to bigger one in 1.6. But maybe any other experience?
