Good Luck, hope it is as good in the flesh as it looks in the ad. Do you have an OBD scanner (OBD 11) or if anyone you know can let you borrow one. Be good to scan the car for any faults etc...

Yeah bought obd11 and also generic obd to use with vag dpf incase of diesel

Its just the old private vs dealer issue of where to buy from

A Skoda approved car offers you a warranty worth more than the paper it's written on but if your budget is tight it may not be an option. I'd probably choose a tidy private car with lots of history from a seemingly decent owner over a car from a random used car dealer though.
