I have a MK3 Octavia estate. I bought some tail lights from the new facelift model and fitted them... now I’m getting errors saying the bulbs are out (they’re not) 

 

Can anybody help me out around the Liverpool area 

Which tail lights have you used? Are they LED ones? Usually FL tail lights need a wiring harness conversion, mine did.

 

I’m on Anglesey if that’s any good to you and I can certainly code the bulb warnings off and add anything else you would like if you want to come that far or can meet at my in laws near Colwyn Bay. I’m off all this week if that’s any good.

I’ve got the led ones from the FL model, they are genuine do you still think I would need the harness? And that’s good I might take you up on that offer

Pop a picture of them up, there are 2 types. My FL lights needed a wiring harness conversion as the plugs are totally different which is why I ask. There are 4 types of tail light fitted to the Octavia 3, the basic standard all incandescent tail lights that are fitted to the PFL, the LED PFL lights which the vRS has which uses incandescent bulbs for the indicators and reverse lights but the rest is LED and they have a double C shaped tail light pattern, the FL lowline LED rears with have a single C shaped LED tail light pattern and the FL highline LED rears which have a slight tint and look like this (my car below).

 

 

 

If the correct coding is performed then yes the bulb warnings will not illuminate incorrectly. Depending on which lights you have fitted I can code the channels to LED as well as any other LED pre coding you would like such as number plate lights etc.

That was going to be my question; are they VRS rears or facelift leds?
