Winter Tyre use next week in Scotland maybe.

Featured Replies

Looks like it will not just be the usual routes getting snow in Scotland next week and those that have not already had a chance to use their tyres fitted this winter will.

Obviously if it is a case of traffic at a standstill because of those that do not heed the warnings or are capable of keeping moving in a few inches of snow being out as well. then tough.

I once did the latter in a supermarket carpark, deep, fresh virgin snow. Was great fun until I hit the hidden kerb 😂

It's always the fear isn't it.

One minute you're Ari Vatanen the next you're a tvvat with a broken car

I wish I still had my Scout this morning, got three quarters of the way to work and had to turn around.

My rear wheel drive E-Class on summer tyres was woeful, absolutely shocking.

Traffic Reports on the Radio are saying the Snow Gate on the A939 south side of the Lecht, Strathdon to the Ski Centre are closed because of heavy snow.

Actually blue skies and lovely conditions,

but there is drifting snow on the road.

Skiing conditions at the Lecht and Glenshee on the A93 are perfect.
