Trying to find out how to remove the glovebox on skoda fabia mark 2

Featured Replies

I'm currently struggling to remove the glovebox is there anyone that knows how to,

What do you need it out for ? access to  ?

The main glove box is part of the dash, the top glove box can be removed by the 2 screws on top egde, then a firm tug straight out.

What he said! Some models only had the one glovebox and not two. Usually, people want to access it to remove the air bag, in order to get to the blower motor, to replace the resistor.(Climatic). If you have climatronic A/C, however, this is not done the same way.

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if you managed to figure this out?

The resistor is gone for the heater blower on my Mums MK2 Fabia and we just can’t figure out how to get the glove box out to replace the resistor.

We’ve seen several videos online of people removing the glove box but none of them are the same as my mothers.

I’ve attached a few photos so hopefully someone has the same configuration as this and knows how to remove it.

Cheers,

Mac

I found this post, I think this is the same version as the mothers and why we can’t get the large glove box removed 🤔
