Hi

I just got an 09 Fabia 1.4 TDI

 

At present it has 4 reasonable tyres on it (195 55 R 15), my last car is going to be scrapped has 4 great Michelins on it but they are 195 65 R15 can I use them?

 

Can anyone help please

 

 

If the 195/55 R 15 is the correct size for your car then the 195/65 R 15 are too tall.

i also have a 1.4Tdi..its late 08 Dec! so i missed the 09

its a level 3 so its got all i ever wanted and big tyres etc 205/45 on alloy rims

 

hope you get an answer...i have had many helps here

Look inside the fuel filler flap for the sticker showing tyre pressures vs wheel & tyre sizes, it should list all the wheel sizes that were homologated for your vehicle.

 

Further inspection may reveal that certain sizes were only homologated for certain models, I am currently using the winter wheels & tyres from my Yeti on the Octavia, being impatient I looked no further than the fuel filler 😀
