Radio track listing

Featured Replies

Apologies i have asked this before but cant find the content ( was some time ago)  - i have a DAB radio / sat nav interface on my Black edition 2015 - i would like to see the track titles from the DAB system  - cant seem to find it in the menu ?  help appreciated

As I understand it, nothing to do with the car's settings, but with the info sent by the radio station.

On DAB
View
Station Info.

When a DAB station is playing press "View" from the pop up menu at the bottom and from the options there select "Station Info".

My MINI has the function to show track listings but it appears different stations broadcast different data.  On my old SEAT, the DAB info came up for all of them, all the time.  However in the MINI it shows for some but not others.  Example: Heart FM.  If I receive the Oxfordshire one I get nothing.  If I wander next door to Berkshire the DAB auto-switches to the stronger signal and starts displaying track info.  If I wander further afield to the Three Counties patch I get visual data updates - all for the same 'station'.  Radio 2 also shows nothing.

Sadly my screen does not come up with "view" for some reason ( or i cant find it ) - i have extras and presets as the option - will take some pics of the interface

The buttons should appear at the bottom of the screen when your hand approaches it.
You say it's a 2015 car, do you know when it was made?

Edit: how many SD card slots does it have on the front?
Does it have a CD slot?

It has a CD slot but it starting to come clearer now as i have the presets showing 1 -6 in a ring as the home screen for the radio - once i have selected a particular station if i press the i button on the top right the track information appears - so we are good - thanks for the responses - not sure when the car was made - registered new in June 15  as a Black Edition CR 4X4 with satnav and DAB - quite simply a very good car

PS - Can see you are used to heavyweights Urrell :)

If it has a CD slot it's pre November 2014.

Aha - It seems you have an 'Amunsen Plus' which I too have - but mine doesn't have the DAB option 😐

Next dumb question - how does the satnav get updated ? seems to be an SD card slot on the left of the screen as you look at it

All pre November units have to be updated depending on unit with a Skoda SD or CD with maps on, either from a Skoda dealer or some have managed to update with SD or CD from eBay or other sellers.
The post October 2014 Amundsen IIs can be updated for free with data downloaded from the Skoda update portal.

Thats a shame as it will probably get serviced by the local VW specialist now - i bought from a long way away to get the spec but have returned for MOT and service

seems a long time to have a car in stock - pre Nov 14 to June 15 ?

If you download the Skoda App onto a smartphone and input the VIN it will tell you the exact date it was manufactured.
What colour is your car?
Also are you sure it is a 4x4?

I will do that - its a Moon White Black edition 140 tdi 4x4 - its got a Haldex box as the fluid was changed at the service - also pulled out of a muddy field with no issue over the weekend
