Glad this one's been put to bed. I don't comment usually on tyre posts any more, but since being in a vehicle that switched ends at 70mph in a bend on a duel carriageway, spinning a few times on the correct side of the road before crossing to the opposite carrieageway and spinning again before ending up arse end first in a hawthorn hedge. I am a great believer in best tyres rear. As this post proves others have different opinions and they are of course entitled to them. I think you have done the right thing, buying all new. I will always have the best tyres on the rear.
