VCDS measure block and starting issue

Featured Replies

Hi.

I tried to read “Measure block -08” on my Skoda Octavia 2013 5E5 but the choice is disabled in VCDS ver 18. What could be problem? Any idea what could cause this? Or should it just be enabled somewhere else before I can use this module?

I have sometime starting issue in the cold weather that the car starts at third or fourth ignition when I switch the key on. Not always but sometimes.

I have changed the feul pump in tank since last error showed me that there was mechanical issue with the feul pump.  I have also changed the fuel filter and air filter.

I was curious about the amount of fuel and air since average is not so good. In the manual of  car it should use about 4,5 litres for 100km but it uses much more about 7 to 8 litres depending on short driving or long driving.

I have to tell that this car is driven 300 000 km and I have not service history for this car for the last 5 years. I bought this for three months ago and do not know much about this.

All help is appreciated.

Updating  from 18 to the latest version 19.6 might help.

Assuming it's a genuine Ross-Tech lead ... there are some clones around that only work with VCDS version 18.x.x

Hi. Thanks for respons.

I found another article on google from Ross tech that gives sense. It is due to change of communication protocol from VAG. So I have to use advanced measurements Module.

thanks to all.
