MkII octavia vrs TSI - P0121 code. Help

Featured Replies

HI all, now into my second week of skoda ownership and onto my fourth issue, which may or may not be related to previous issues.

EPC light came on and limp mode a few days ago. Took to a garage who diagnosed a loose coil pack on a plug. Car was driving fine for a few days now I have EPC light back on and rough idling. Plugged in the Vagcom and have got the P0121 code.

TPS / pedal position. Sensor A CKT. Range / perf.

Prior to all my issues the battery died on my car 1 random night and I had to jump start the next day. Not sure if this could have attributed in any way?

Any advice appreciated?

Thanks

I just had a supposed diagnostic specialist look at the car and he could not clear codes or sort issue. He says that the first port of call is to change the throttle body which going by TPS they are steep at £423.

The fault is intermittent, i hadn't driven the car for a few days then got in and the code disappeared, and the car was diving fine for 15 mins, but then it reappeared.

Anyone experienced anything similar?

Thanks
