When I received a message to phone when driving, Android Auto read it out loud with a nice male voice in Estonian.

About month ago it changed. I fiddled around with Mirrorlink, installing and deisnstalling different app, including Samsung Car Mode.

 

Now I have a female voice for Google assistant, who reads out messages in Estonian, but with english pronunciation. Cannot understand a word!

 

Have gone through all the language settings in Google and Android Auto, but cannot figure it out.

When you went through all of the language settings on your phone were you able to change the voice at all? Have you tried this...

 

• How to change the Google Assistant voice on your phone:

1) Open Google Home app.

2) Tap profile tab (fourth tab from the right).

3) Under General settings category, tap Settings.

4) Tap on Assistant tab to the right of Personal info.

5) Tap on Assistant voice.

6) And now choose your favourite voice.

Problem must be somewhere else.

I suspect not Google itself, but Android Auto. Or Samsung Car mode. Must dig deeper.
