And even in good sunny conditions, they typically produce only about a tenth of their claimed output. (Read that in a pretty serious discussion/testing of them recently, can't remember where sadly, but from personal experience and measurement, it stacks up).

Yes, be more appropriate to call them Solar, Parasitic Drain Compensation Unit................but what a mouthful, Lol.

Or central locking life support unit?

There will be a mental health aspect of this as well. Going for a drive might be the only way some people can leave their homes. It can be done responsibly, you go out you drive you come home.

If people are locked in their homes for the next 3 months you'll have as many suicides as corona deaths.

Is that a quote from possibly the most dangerous man in the world?

He was on about that yesterday when mentioning he wants America open by Easter.

He has a point re possible suicides, but he is still unbelievably stupid regarding some comments / statements he makes..............imo

I think there is probably a lot of air between going for drive and not interacting with anyone outside your household and Trump suggesting that everyone just gets back to work and starts making him and his pals money again.

Lets not make light of sewage side, 'the dirty way out'.

But one or 2 ways to commit it could be out of the question if their car can not start, or they have an electric oven.

I worked someplace that never got vacuumed for quite a while because someone took the hose from the vacuum cleaner with them when they went to do what they did.

Let's not make light..........

But one or two ways..........

 Slightly contradictive, but never mind.....:tongueout:

I was being serious.

You need to keep your battery charged and the fuel tank with fuel if that way is to be your isolation of choice final moments.

Paracetamol is in short supply and really a horrible way to try and then survive.

Anybody that is worried about their car, just drop it off outside my house fully disinfected and I'll make sure it does 400 miles a week for you. I'll even supply the fuel.

This is my solution, been like it a week now and will likely remain for 4 months, the wheels were removed because I caught scrote neighbours who thought they would save me the effort and remove them for me, problem was I only had 2 axle stands at the time & the front was rather precarious, if it had fallen on them guess who would be one eating prison food?

Dont you just love Lidl, you can go in their in the middle of a national confinement armed with your attestation to buy products of première necessité, all the shelves full, got my bananas, a pomegranete, fromage blanc and a pair of folding axle stands to match the ones I already had!!

^^^^ Maybe they should be renamed to 'sill stands', Lol.

Nice wooden prop, though if the car had have fallen on the said scrotes then at least you would have had plenty of time to get rid of the evidence, Lol.

Not a criticism just a question.

Is it better to put supports under the front and rear hubs to keep the bushes and drive shafts  in their normal positions or to support on the jacking points and let the suspension drop taking the load off the springs?
