New to Skoda........ Auto door lock🤦🏻‍♂️

Featured Replies

Morning,

Picked up a stunning Vrs mk1 last night, after some horrendous luck with a Vauxhall Insignia...... All seems well with the car, and although it may seem like a minor issue it’s a handy feature I like so......

I was under the impression that to doors would lock automatically at a pre determined speed (10mph) this doesn’t happen but I can lock the doors via the button? Is there a sequence I can follow to enable this? Is it a fault ? Or is it something that need programming in at a stupid cost?

Cheers in Advance,

Ade

I believe you can program the anti hijack feature but can't find a link, perhaps you could search the forum using the word hijack.

Yup, I had this disabled using VCDS

That explains the clunks from the door that I hear sometimes.

I thought it was the usual random door locking unlocking that is built into the Fabia Mk1 as standard.

If you are new to the Fabia then commit to memory now...

'Never leave your keys in the car' when you get out, take them out with you always'.

totoro - You will probably be the auto locking activated which re-locks the doors after 30 seconds if you don't put the keys in the ignition and switch on.
