Remap pd130 fabia

Featured Replies

Just wondering who the best remap company is for my fabia mk1 vrs pd130 ?

Honestly, avoid 90% of the mapping companies out there. There are a lot of cowboys out there charging an arm and a leg, for absolute rubbish. My Fabia came remapped when I bought it and I had to waste hours logging the boost and fueling to correct the crap that was on it.

Do you want to remap and forget, or go onto better and more power? If you want something easy, Celtic Tuning come to your door.

Yeah remap an forget really just needs that extra bit it’s done 130k though would they still map it as I rang r tech and they wouldn’t touch it as it’s past 100k

The reason is, these engines can make lets say 200-300,000 without major repairs if driven WELL.

The Fabia vRS attracts a lot of chavs, so maybe yours will have been driven hard for most of those miles, so it wont last long with a remap. Mines at 180K, and it blew the turbo the other day, my DMF is rattling like hell and the clutch cylinder has problems.

They dont want to map it because if they do, they dont want you coming back and asking why the clutch is slipping or why the turbo blew. Then you'll be out of pocket for a fair amount.

I think Celtic tuning wouldnt care so long as its mechanically sound, but youll have to call and check.

Just use whoever is nearest to you since you just want a generic torque limited remap.
