I'm a skoda virgin, but thinking about breaking my cherry on a Fabia VRS.

I own a '98 306 at the mo and see the VRS as a sensible upgrade, I've test driven the VRS twice now and really enjoyed the ride.

I'm looking for any advise you guys have concerning buying, modding, maintenance and general running of the VRS.
