Fitting new plastic trim.

Featured Replies

Afternoon everyone, I hope this finds everyone as well as can be expected in the current climes.

I was about to embark on fitting the wheel arch trims on my Karoq, when I realised that there is undoubtedly remnants of life shine products and subsequent other polishes and cleaning products. To that end, before I embark on fitting, is there any need or pre-requisite to prepare the surface. The trims are pre fitted with 3m very sticky 1-2mm foam tape, and I'd kick myself, very hard, if if there was something that I should have done to ensure the trims stay in place for as long as possible. Thank you in advance, all information and guidance, as always, greatfully received.
