I would appreciate any one with experience of replacing the internal door panel with window regulator on a 2006 year front near side .

I have been looking on various web sites and wondered if anyone has experience on how to identify if the  steel panel is the same spec as original and not a thinner gauge metal.

Also any info on the new rivet size/length would be appreciated, I understand I need too get a lazy tong riveter to install the new rivets and plumbers gold sealant.

miss spelling

The pop rivets for steel carrier to door are part number N91078801  6.4X10.0mm. There are 10 rivets in each front door.

 

The pop rivets for regulator to steel panel are part number N90765701 (these also fit the speaker to steel panel). 4.8x15mm

 

The panels are all the same thickness.
