Hi, I've just bought the superb 1.6 tdi mk11 2012 with 70000 mile on the clock. There is no evidence of a new cam belt. Do you think it is due a new one? 

To @Scotteddy - The mileage is not much but the years are. This is bad one. When I give my "Superb" for cam belt change, the kilometers was 160.000 and the car was 4.5 years-old. The cam belt have very (I was almost shocked) little cracks and one of the pulleys sound terrible. For me - eventual failure can cost a much more than a little earlier change

This was my thought, if the mileage was on a 3 year old car I wouldn't of thought of it but the age did concern me. Thanks for the advice
