Hi folks  could someone help me out and  confirm something  for me the car I have is a mk 1 octavia estate 1.8 turbo 4x4 is the 4x4 system same as mk 1 audi tt? 

 

Struggling to find some rear end parts driveshaft, suspension arm rear shocks when I search in eurocarparts come up with nothing so now looking for used parts just not sure what cars use the same 4x4 system and rear suspension set up.

Yes, at the rear it is physically the same as the mk1 TT/Audi 8L A3 Quattro/S3 and mk4 Golf 4motion/R32.  
 

There are numerous different rear spring and shock absorber combinations in terms of spring rate/shock stiffness etc.  I used to run mk4 Golf 4motion sport springs and shock absorbers on my Octavia 4x4, but standard are definitely available. 

I believe they are both Gen 1 systems yes. I wouldn't presume any of the suspension and drive components  are the same though so I would still check
