Fabia vrs clutch

Featured Replies

Car mapped to 235hp and 350ftlbs with uprated turbo and supporting mods has a Sachs paddle clutch that I believe has died or is dieing. What is the best option for a no paddle clutch and single or duel mass as currently single mass and makes a horrid noise.

Refit the DMF with a Sachs SRE clutch kit.

Sachs SRE with the organic clutch disc, only difference when driving compared to std clutch is a heavier clutch pedal which you soon get use to.

Cheapest option would be to just stick with the SMF and replace the faulty/worn parts, if it's the paddle disc that has worn out you could replace it with the organic disc, you would of course still have the SMF noise.

I have this in mine and I cant recommend it enough ! I put in the Sachs DMF that came with the SRE clutch and its really nice !

My missus says that it is heavy but she has a Honda and its my car so I take no notice of that .....

Dual mass flywheel at that torque is a waste of time

keep the single mass flywheel and change the clutch

sachs / helix is what you want
