Sounds like clutch problems, in my limited experience.

What is the mileage on the car???

94789miles

@Afrosantana

Has the car had Oil & Filter changes twice already as per Manufacturers Schedule?

  • Author

No I can't remember any of that since purchase.

@Afrosantana How long have you had the car???

Do you have any service history with it, or other paperwork that may tell you about possible gearbox oil and filter changes.

If not, then I believe Skoda themselves may have that information if it was a skoda garage that did the change, if in the UK???

If you still not sure then a gearbox oil and filter change may not be a bad place to start.............however this is not by any means guaranteed to sort it.

Otherwise I would suggest find a DSG specialist to diagnose or at least advise.

Perhaps this has some bearing on your problem:

^^^^Just for info.

As that is a DQ200 7 Speed DSG is different from the OP's.

On that age of Yeti it was part of the World Wide recall which was only a Service Campaign in Europe.

That was to change the Synthetic Oil to Mineral and do a software update.  There could be internal Corrosion with those and the Fuse could blow.

The service campaign is '34F7',  2009-2012 DQ200's.  The in 2017 for boxes 2013-2015 there is another service campaign for the boxes with Mineral Oil. '24H5' a Software Update.

Then from 2019 another Recall on Safety Critical Drive Failure, same issues, DQ200's from 2009-2016.

Vorsprung Durch Technik.  No way Jose!

But the OP has a Wet Clutch DSG that needs regular Oil changes.  40,000 miles with VW, Skoda, Seat and if an Audi they say 38,000 mile intervals.
