Battery condition indicator

Featured Replies

Battery condition indicator on dashboard of my superb mk3 is showing ---% even though battery is charged? Any ideas please

You say battery is charged. Have you charged it using an external charger. If so did you connect charger to +ve and -ve terminals of battery. If so you may have damaged the BCM. The -ve lead from charger must be connected to the point on the bulkhead, as per owners manual.

Sorry, I can't answer to your question.

However, I'm very curious about what you say, since many Superb 3 owners would like to activate this function with VCDS, but AFAIK, no one succeeded yet.

What is the MY of your Superb?

Thanks.

Has it ever read anything? Didn't they disable this SOC indicator to avoid people wondering why it never got to 100%?

Its the first time ive tried this so dont know if its ever work on my 2016 business edition, and have always used the neg steel tab when charging.

I only tried it as i had low batt warning after sitting for four hours listening to cd in hospital car park, drove 40 miles to hospital and 40 back, not had warning since
