Servo warning light

Featured Replies

Hello

Have read through the forum but found no answer to this question
Skoda fabia 1.4 2000
Servo warning light is on, and I've been tired of troubleshooting and replacing components.
Has anyone tryed too bypass the warning light with a relay timer and knows if it works, and which cable you should goo true.

The car is old and not worth the cost to keep repairing, Everything works as it should even power steering... except steering warning light is lid up

Not interested of doing anything else but this now

Cheers

Which one is the servo warning light?

Sorry i meant power steering light.. Servo is swedish

Ok, the chances are it's the pump itself.

Up to you what you do what you wanna do but spoofing the light won't work.

Someone did this to my Polo's emissions warning light some time before my ownership, perhaps you could do something similar for your PAS fault light?:

Well I guess strictly speaking that's probably true, which country are you in, and has it already caused a problem at such an inspection?

That blanked-out emissions warning light should have made my car fail about 4 or 5 MOT tests in the UK since I became the owner, but it wasn't noticed at any of them. (Nor by me, until I dismantled the cluster to investigate, just last year.)

Hi Wino

I am in Sweden and i  haven't been and inspected it yet,
and it is not worth the cost to fix it.
But good to have a second car sometimes.

Maybe your solution works, if the inspector does not care
Everything works fine and no codes, just this issue
