Error airbag

Just appeared on dash not been playing with anything any ideas what caused it would be appreciated I'm a bit old in the tooth and not use to these forum's thankyou, octavia mk3 2013

Check the connectors under the front seats, they can work loose

Had a similar problem with an early 2007 MKII airbag connection. Finally fixed after owning the car for 10 years! This was a major problem for VAG around the world which they never really acknowledged except in America due to American consumer protection laws.  Common belief was it was the connection from the seat into the floor. This was not my problem. It was the connection from the side airbag to a connector underneath the seat in the middle.  I would be surprised if later cars had this problem.  You can find the connector by following the yellow wires from the airbag. Checking the connector is not possible it has to be replaced or soldered. The problem appears to be that it is spring loaded, I THINK! to earth the bag if disconnected to prevent accidental explosive deployment! Before doing the repair you need to take a variety of safety measures so I suggest you get a garage to check out if this is your problem.

Thanks everyone just had it read,,,, multiple collision brake - no function B13BCF2,,,,,, had it cleared will monitor if returns, on vw forum people suggested possible ABS module fault
