Skoda newbie

Hi all, 

I've owned various VAG stuff over the years but I'm dipping my toe into the Skoda world with a 2006 Octavia Elegance DSG Estate. 130k on the clock but full history.

It's in need of a bloody good clean... But due to my job I stick fairly big miles on my cars and an impending house move/associated improvements that will need to be made, meant I wanted something honest and that I won't be too bothered about the odd knock and scrape on. 

Knowing me however - it'll get sold on in a few years in better cosmetic nick than I bought the thing! 😅

Girlfriend also has a 2011 Fabia SE - so I'm hoping I'll be pretty active in here with keeping them both on the road! Thanks for 'avvin me!
