skoda mk1 wiring fault

help needed...I own a mk1 Skoda Octavia my cars drives great until traction control light comes on and then I lose power  then blows loads smoke out of exhaust.

had turbo checked and its fine. had fault check and it came back saying broken or lose wire causing problem, anybody know of any common problem or point me in right direction..
