Hello,

 

Skoda ocativa 1.6 FSI about 107k had an EGR fault code often every 50- 200 miles. I had an EGR valve replaced with genuine but the fault code still keeps coming at the same mileage interval after clearing it. Some drop in mileage when this happens but i am not completely sure.

 

Now it also a G42 sensor fault code which comes with EGR fault code. I had a full scan have only the below faults.

 

I wonder if G42 sensor actually is faulty that's why  EGR fault code comes up as I already changed the EGR valve?.

Yesterday again had the same faults:

000274 - Intake Air Temp. Sensor (G42)

               P0112 - 001 - Signal too Low - Intermittent

                    Fault Status: 00100001

                    Fault Priority: 0

                    Fault Frequency: 31

It appears that Air intake sensor fault comes after EGR, But I note frequency  is 31.

I am thinking of to start with changing air intake sensor . Anyone has any thoughts to resolve /investigate?
