Looking ahead to my lease ending next year,  I want as my next car a plug in hybrid Karoq !! I know the latest  Superb has such a system, but any news of the Karoq getting one too ? As per the heading, I want...!! I really like Skoda, now on my third ( 2 x Octavia's & a Karoq ) and don't really want to switch to a different manufacturer - MG, Hyundai, Kia & Mitsubishi all make such SUV's,so I'm hoping Skoda will too. Anyone any thoughts / news on the subject ?

The facelifted Kodiaq (due this summer still?) is expected to get a plug-in hybrid option by the end of the year. As the Karoq is likely to be following along a year later, I'd not expect one before the end of 2021. But since the Enyaq iV is due out by the end of 2020 it might not be considered worth while to have a hybrid Karoq since that would presumably have to lose boot space for the extra battery etc.

Thanks for that Chris ( CJJE) - yes, I see the Enyaq iV is due this year, starting at circa £40k !! Much more than I'm willing to pay. You're considering a Karoq 1.5 TSI DSG Edition ? That's what I've got & love it to bits so if no hybrid PHEV Karoq when the time comes ( ie, lease ends) I'll go for another Edition version, possibly this time in black but  keeping the beige interior, which really makes it look classy IMO.
