Boot lid

Featured Replies

Heres one. The boot lid wont unlock when I unlock the car. How ever I can still unlock the boot as and when I need, by using the middle button on the key fob.

Any one got any idears at all?

Is it a sign that the battery is starting to fail?

Got the same problem to my lid, only on occation though. Also had one key locked in today..opened, put the key in the ignition and popped the hood, the closed the front door again. 30sec later the car locked itself!! Luckily I was near my second key!

Hi Stuart-h. Is this a new issue, developed during ownership of the car or has it been like that some time/forever? Will it open with the tailgate switch, if you unlock the car via the door lock? I am just wondering if its the way the boot was coded.
