Have you purchased have the CTHE engine? Its a straight forward swap.....My CAVE was replaced in 2012 with the CTHE engine however the ECU still flags up as CAVE on VCDS, From what I gather some early engine replacxements byt skoda were provided with an ECU update and some weren't?

 

Apart from that heres the differences the CTHE engine has:

Inherent to the oil pump, oil filter, oil cooler

Inherent in 'camshaft, valves adj. Camshaft

036 109 411 H - lever drag roller - 036109411 K

03C 107 065 BL - Complete piston - 03C 107 065 EC

inherent to the head cylinders that

03C 103 475 03C BC cylinder head cover 103 475 DC

Translated it Becomes this:

03C 133 062 D - throttle control unit - 03C AA 133062

Inherent to the oil pump, oil filter, oil cooler
