Rear Parking Sensor Karoq DSG 4x4

Featured Replies

I have a Karoq 2.0 DSG 4x4.

The problem is one of my rear parking sensors has been pushed into the bumper.

No signs of damage apart from a trolley scratch on the number plate holder! No codes and the reversing display in the car is working fine.

Some advice on how to access the sensor to relocate it or, knowing my luck, replace it, gratefully received.

Thanks in advance.

Chris.

If it's one of the corner sensors, you can see it if you lay under the back of the car. At a pinch you could relocate it by pushing it back into position with a bit of wood or similar. I had to dry out one of my rear sensors/electrical connectors using a hot air gun when it was power washed square on after a 'complimentary wash' when it went in for a warranty job - never again!

If it's one of the middle sensors I don't think you can get to them from below from what I can remember.

Thanks for the reply westie38, but it is one of the middle ones. I assume the bumper will have to come off.

Go to the Skoda Karoq Guides and look at the Workshop Manuals that have been posted there - one might show how to remove the bumper.
