What Fakra connector for DAB splitter to Tiny Audio DAB receiver?

Featured Replies

Hi.

What kind of DAB antenna splitter contacts do I need to connect the splitter (for external Tiny audio DAB receiver) on an 2011 Fabia ?

Afak recollect the contacts on the stereo is twin Fakra. Do I need a splitter with twin Fakra, or is single Fakra enoug?

I dont listen to AM or FM at al since everything except local radio is DAB+ here in Norway..

Also is the threads for new antenna 5mm ?

And am I correct in there's no antenna amplifier that have to be turned of on cars with roof mounted traditional areal antenna?

Cheers Gunnar

I have attached a list of Fakra connectors. Check which one you need.

The description for that splitter (Google translation works for Norwegian if anyone is interested) says I might need a "8551 Phantom infeed (to feed 12v to an amplifier I think)  https://acb.no/Details.asp?ProductID=3491

But he also said they this car probably have no amplifier since the antenna are a roof mounted one.

This DAB stuff is kind of a mess. Is there anyone or there who can give me be some guidance?
