Android Auto & MyTuner/Tunein Apps

Featured Replies

Hi all

Here in France we like to listen to uk radio using the above apps whilst in the Kodiaq. We have a 2019 Edition with Amundsen ICE.

I tether a Samsung S10 to the system and Android auto starts straight away and off we go on our journey listening to Heart/Smooth and the like.

The problem I have is that when we stop the car and unplug the phone to take with us and then return to the car after shopping etc and reconnect the phone, Android auto starts but neither of the radio apps will play.

It happens every time we reconnect to the car on every journey. It works perfectly when 1st connected but as soon as we stop and unplug/reconnect zilch.

Any ideas?

Sorry for the long post

Steve

Just a dumb guess, but somewhere in he car menu is an option "use (internet) data for Skoda apps".

Start from ticking this.

Thanks, have tried everything and still not playing ball.

I have now reset system to factory settings and will try again. Will let you know if it works or not.

Also do soft reset for your phone.

I am not sure that the problem is the car.

P.S. Also you can try the next: find older version of Android Auto (year or more) here https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/android-auto/

Deinstall completely existing one, clear phone`s catche and install old one.

I do not listen Tunein often, but I remember at some point after installing new version of AA it lost all favourite stations etc.
