My clutch pedal is intermittently sticking to the floor and gears can be hard to select.  I'm told it's the slave cylinder thats needed, the one connected to the clutch pedal.  My mechanic is having trouble identifying the part number of what's required, all of his parts suppliers seem to come up with a different part.  Can anyone help.  It appears to be connected by 2 bolts, has 2 pipes going to it and an electric connection.  Fingers crossed someone can help !   Car is a 2010 Octavia VRS Facelift, 2.0 CR. I think what you are describing is the clutch master cylinder!
