After dead battery, passenger side electrics dead

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've a 2006 VRS Estate and recently the battery died (just unused for a while). Recharged and fired up, but the passenger side door electrics (windows, locks etc) seem dysfunctional now, which is a bit of a pain.

I can't see an obvious fuse to change in the owners manual and wondered whether anyone had any hints for what might be a simple fix ?

Cheers,

Pete

did you drive around a bit after charging?

my batterybflattened from lacknof yse a couple if weeks ago and after I jump started it (off Lexi the citigo)  the steering light was on and the door electrics were all out of phase until i drove a couple of miles - windows wouldnt go up/down on the one touch setting, doors were locking/unlocking out of phase with each other. that kinda thing. but after a spin it was grand.

Been driving around for weeks. Have had similar oddities after a totally dead battery before, but as you say they all came good after a recharge / restart. This seems persistent.
