So I needed a family car to support the growing family in Sydney AU, (We're American expats and dual nationals).  I was looking for a long time at the VW Passat All-Track, but they changed it to Wolfsburg and then discontinued it.  The budget just wasn't right yet.  Then one day I poked around carsales to see what I could see that'd tick the boxes.

* Wagon (I'm a wagon lover... been one all my life.  My mom and I are partial to Volvo 240's as we've had two growing up, and I also like Aston Martin shooting brakes, Audi ARQ, and the BMW E34 5 series)

* Stylish

* Huge cargo space in the boot

* Good price

* Good condition

 

Well I am now the proud owner of a Superb2 Combi 4x4 in the sharp white I prefer in German cars and their derivatives.  Ticks all the boxes and like a rocket ship.  I think I might have to augment it some day with a second Skoda (Kodiaq or newer Super wagon)
